This restored double decker is a fantastic way to spend a holiday, a well - designed and quirky space is ideal for all the people that enjoying camping but always missed their luxuries. The bus offers all the charm of the outdoor holiday experience without losing your precious home comforts.

Located in one of the most sought after areas of the South Hams, Bantham boasts one of the best beaches in the South Hams for surfing, sailing and many water sports and not to mention the amazing coastal footpaths and surrounding natural beauty. It has also been voted as one of the top ten beaches in Europe.

Positioned in its own private woodland area with decking, this bus is the coolest place to stay in the South Hams, Just 15 minutes walk from the beach and the popular pub The Sloop, famous for its great food and brewery and also the Local shop with a great selection of cooked snacks and local produce. This bus is like no other you have ever seen – jump aboard and you will soon discover how

The entrance is upfront where the driver would have sat on the lower deck which leads you to the kitchen area with cooker, fridge freezer, sink and you can also sit at the bar area and enjoy the views. This cleverly laid out area gives you ample space and still gives you everything you could need to cook with some fabulous local produce, readily available in the vicinity.

Further back, Also located on this level is the shower and wash basin.

The stairs lead you to the top Deck where you’ll find a large cosy seating area, with a generous sofa which converts to a double bed, where you can enjoy the panoramic views. Moving along the bus to the rear section is the two bedrooms and breakfast bar. With further accommodation of two bunk beds and the master bedroom with double bed, perfect to find something fascinating to read and curl up and get cosy.

Plenty is supplied to make your stay on the Secret Bus a comfortable one, including bedding, towels, tea towels. There’s even a socket to charge your laptop or phone.

Note: The Bus is not suitable for children under 5 due to the stairs. The head room on the top floor is 6 ft

Bantham Surfing Academy

Why not book a lesson or rent a board from Dave the Wave at Bantham surf academy. You can also rent Kayaks, Stand up Paddleboards and all the gear you need to stay warm in the water. Their highly experienced and surfing GB qualified instructors provide, professional tuition and coaching for beginners through to elise levels in a safe and friendly environment.

Why not enjoy a cup of coffee and a delicious pastry at one of the Gastro Bus locations at Bantham Beach car park. They also offer an excellent range of hot food, ice creams, and are licensed to vend alcohol. They also run pop up pizza & Thai nights throughout the summer. There is a large seating area and is a really chilled and chilled place to eat and watch the beach life around you.

Situated in the Thurlestone hotel, why not book yourself in for a spa treatment. It has the most up to date facilities including gym, pool, steam room and a laconium. Off season, there are also packages on offer such as a treatment and a meal at the Village inn. Keep an eye on their website for these offers.
Thurlestone Golf Club
1.6 miles

On the cliff tops of Thurlestone with stunning views over Burgh Island and Bigbury bay, this course is a mix of links and cliff top terrain. This 18-hole course aims to cater for all ages and abilities with a mixture of tees. Visitors are welcome, and there are two bars on site with a separate dining room. Green fees vary depending on time of year, but start at £36 in the low season. As with all golf courses a dress code applies, and details of this can be found on their website. The Club also have both grass and hard courts that are available to hire to non- members throughout the summer season. These are very popular and booking in advance is highly advisable
