Offering guests a holiday home to build memories to last a lifetime, 2 Steepfield is a wonderful ground floor property with some of the most beautiful views across the Avon Estuary and Burgh Island in the distance.
Doused in charm, this three bedroomed property presents that home from home feeling. From the moment of arrival you are welcomed by wooden gates, which open out to access the driveway, suitable for 2 small cars. Leading up to the front door, a small staircase ascends entry to this stylish coastal themed home. You are welcomed into the spacious bright and light entrance hall. To the left, the main family bathroom and utility room is located. This beautifully bright rustic seaside themed bathroom, fitted with a bath and overhead hand shower, toilet, basin and heated towel rail, doubles up as the utility where a washing machine, countertop clothes folding area and iron can be found.
Back into the entrance hall, large glass swing doors open into the lounge. Full of character, this lounge offers a gorgeous stone walled open fireplace with slate finish, plus comfortable seating on the sofa and armchairs. A TV and Wi-Fi are available to maintain your technological fix but also included in the fantastic vintage drawer are board games for all the family to play and make memories with.
Up a single step, the lounge adjoins the large kitchen diner. Large floor to ceiling windows and patio doors offer an abundance of light into the dining room. The dining room is perfect for embracing the scenery right from the family dining table, seating 6 guests or alternatively throwing the doors open for al-fresco dining on either of the garden patios, while the children laugh and play in the garden.
A patio area spans across the houseline right round to the Steepfield Studio patio area, which can be used when both properties are booked in conjunction as overflow accommodation. A set of stairs leads onto the grassy area of the garden. Towards the rear, near the shed, an additional patio area with seating is a great entertainment and BBQ area. Garden gates open out onto a public footpath that leads into the village and down to the estuary.
Back into the house, the diner leads into the L-shaped kitchen. This cottage style kitchen is fitted with all the crockery and cutlery required for a family. The functional kitchen offers plenty of preparation countertops, a built-in electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, garburator, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle.
Leading out the kitchen into the hallway accessed from the entrance hall too, the bedrooms are found. The first bedroom is one for the kids. Boat themed with single bunk beds, makes for a comfortable abode. Handmade blackout curtains, the chill-out bean bag and reading chair create a recipe for great storytelling and relaxation. The bedside draw offers plenty of storage space during your visit.
Next is the second bedroom. Designed to be bright and light, this room is rather spacious and presents a double bed, hanging storage and bedside units. The floor to ceiling window and door turn waking up into an excitement with a dash of tranquillity from the views of the garden, estuary and coast in the distance.
At the end of the hallway, the master bedroom and en-suite can be found. The bathroom comes fully fitted with a bath, overhead shower, toilet, and basin. A lovely woven wooden chair and stool introduce a sense of luxury and a practical element for dressing once bathed. The spacious, elegant master bedroom has been decorated to a high standard with charming furniture including an antique butler table; draw storage space and an ottoman storage bench. Two reading chairs have been strategically placed around the room which tie-in well with the super comfy super king size bed. The large window and door open out onto the patio in the garden that overlooks the stunning sight of the estuary.
